Apple opens massive retail store in Beijing, China

Apple has just opened a retail store in Beijing, China.
Apple has joined the International retail presence in Beijing with their first Chinese Apple Store opening today. Without any other obligations on a Saturday morning, I decided to check out the scene at The Village at Sanlitun, near a popular Beijing nightlife hotspot.

Apple has decided to extend MobilMe subscriptions by 30 days for those who was a .Mac member with an active account as of July 9, 2008 and those who were new MobileMe on or before July 15, 7:00 PM PDT.

Apple Opening Up iPhone Developer Program

Based on reports from developers, it seems Apple has opened the program up and dropped the “beta” designation. Multiple developers have reported that they have been accepted into the $99/yr developer program which allows them to install their applications directly onto their iPhone and also submit their apps for inclusion into the iTunes App Store.
