The App Store (along with the iPhone 3G) has been available as part of the iPhone 2.0 software update for about 2 weeks now. With the release of the App Store there has been a surge of new iPhone apps to the point of becoming overwhelming.
Here’s a list of my five favorite free apps (no games in this list, but look for the top iPhone game list soon).
While politics are on mind, I thought that I would share with you another video found on YouTube. This one comes from Ron Paul on the Housing Bill that was passed yesterday. The video is 8 minutes long. No matter how badly your A.D.D. acts up, I highly suggest that you watch this video — it’s worth it.

Apple is moving up the charts, toppling Acer to become the third largest PC vendor in the U.S., according to a survey from Gartner. Apple defied a weakening economy to record a 38.1 percent growth rate in U.S. PC shipments, according to Gartner. Overall PC shipments in the U.S. grew just 4.2 percent to 16.5 million units during the quarter.
To match Movable Type’s iPhone application, the fine folks at have finally gotten their app through Apple’s approval process and it is now available free on the iTunes App Store.
